Delete your Hy-Worth account
Hy-Worth, operated by Hy-Lev SA, lets you permanently delete your account and all of the data associated with it — yourself, at any time, directly in the app. This page explains how, and exactly what is deleted and kept.
How to delete your account
- Sign in to your account at www.hy-worth.com.
- Open Settings, then the Advanced tab.
- Under "Danger Zone", select "Delete My Account".
- Type DELETE in the confirmation box to confirm.
- Your account and data are then permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.
Can't sign in?
If you can no longer access your account, email us at privacy@hy-worth.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account first.
What is deleted
Everything you have stored in Hy-Worth is removed from our production systems immediately: your profile, accounts and balances, net-worth history, investment holdings, real-estate records, budgets and planner scenarios, insurance and estate records, uploaded vault and entity documents (including the files themselves), household membership, notifications, and your app preferences.
What is kept, and for how long
Residual copies of your data in our encrypted backups are purged within 30 days of deletion. Where the law requires it, billing records associated with any past payments may be retained by our payment processor (Stripe) for the statutory financial-record period (up to 10 years in Switzerland); these records are held by Stripe, not within Hy-Worth.
